About the Author
Adaeze Ifezulike was born to Nigerian parents in the 70s but has lived in the UK for many years. She trained as a GP/Family physician in Scotland and continues to practice as a GP in Aberdeen. Her first book 'Understanding Contraception: a guide for black ladies' was an Amazon bestseller in three categories in the week of its release in 2014 receiving extremely favourable reviews for its funny and easy-to-read portrayal of the subject of contraception. Her second book 'Medicine abroad: a guide for foreign medics' tackles the issue of why many foreign medics are the subject of disciplinary action by medical regulators. It offers friendly advice and guidance on medical exams, taxes, family life, social media, medical regulations and immigration for migrants looking to practice medicine abroad. I found all of the chapters interesting to read. My best chapter talked on importance and benefits of clinical attachment, it was quite elaborate. I am more informed about likely things that could jeopardise ones license and to guard against them, as well as integrating well at work .Without any reservations, I would wholeheartedly recommend it, as It gives insights on different aspects of being a doctor abroad.
